Algebra II

333, 333C – Algebra II – 1 credit

Algebra II reviews and extends the concepts introduced in Algebra I and geometry. These topics include problem solving, linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, properties of exponents, factoring, systems of equations, relations and functions, radicals, rational expressions, and coordinate geometry. The course also introduces new topics which include complex numbers, sequence and series, matrices and determinants, and conic sections. Other topics explored include exponential, logarithmic, and polynomial functions. This course is focused for the student pursuing a career technical program or a seamless transition into a post-secondary option.

A TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator will be provided for use in class only.
