135 – Advanced Placement English Language and Composition – 1 credit

· Full Year – Selected – Grade 11, 12 – Fee for AP Test

The purpose of this course is to give students an intensive college-level writing experience. It is designed for students who have developed their composition skills, have an awareness of style and rhetoric, can write in a variety of modes and for a variety of purposes, and are skilled readers of complex materials from various periods and genres. Students must take the Advanced Placement English Language and Composition Examination upon completion of this course.

Students must successfully complete a research paper/project in order to earn credit for this course.
