Video Production

This course focuses on video production for the entertainment industry. Students plan and coordinate work with clients to produce many different types of video projects. They learn how to write, read and interpret a script, use state of the art equipment and combine graphics, text and special effects. Skills attained include pre-production documentation and planning; in-production audio and video recording; and post-production editing and distribution.


Media Arts Writing for Video

Copy for news stories, screenplays, advertisements and social media has similarities and differences. This course focuses on creating and adapting content for multiple purposes with television, radio and the Web. Students conduct research and interviews to write for videos and other media formats. Students will write scripts for a weekly television program.
