Cosmetology II

982G – Cosmetology II – 4 credits

Cosmetology II completes the study of advanced learning in the areas of: shampooing; scalp and hair treatment; principles of hair design; hair cutting; hairstyling; braiding; chemical texture; hair coloring; hair removal; manicuring; artificial nails; pedicuring; facials/makeup; shop management; dispensary; receptionist practice; communication skills; safety procedures; and employability skills; and cosmetology rules of safety and sanitation. Students will apply to take the State Board of Cosmetology Exam around middle of April (completion of 1500 Hours). Students will be required to wear approved uniform and shoes.
