The development of the real number system will be extended with an emphasis on functions. The course stresses solving equations and inequalities with emphasis on word problems. Other areas of study include graphs in space, exponential and logarithmic functions, conics, the complex number system, series, sequences, and matrices, as well as other related topics. A graphing calculator is required, (preferably a TI-83 or TI-84). IPads cannot be used on the ACT/SAT.
