Reading Skills is a semester course designed to improve reading processes, applications, and vocabulary. A variety of reading strategies will be used to encourage vocabulary development, improve fluency and increase understanding. Placement in the Reading Skills class will be based on the student’s 8^th grade Reading Achievement test score, or 9th grade Universal Reading Screener.
