Lifetime Fitness

864 – Lifetime Fitness – 0.25 credit

· Semester – Grade 10, 11, 12

Students will be involved in various fitness activities throughout this course, participating in yoga, pilates, hip hop, and other fitness activities. Students will also have the opportunity to lift weights to increase muscle strength and endurance. Goal setting and writing workouts to achieve goals are a key component of the course. The course is highlighted by a fitness challenge which will incorporate many different types of fitness activities to be completed as a team. This class will assist students in becoming more physically fit, providing students a guide for being fit for a lifetime.
