Formål:
Formålet med forløbet at uddybe forståelsen af hovedindholdet i det 20. århundredes store ideologier: det liberale demokrati, fascisme/nazisme og den revolutionære socialisme. Vi vil diskutere de spændinger der opstod mellem de lande i verden, der bekendte sig til ideologierne (den kolde krig) med særlig fokus på 1980ernes afspænding (Reagan i USA og Gorbatjov i USSR). Forløbet afsluttes med en undersøgelse af Berlinmurens fald (1989) og den kolde krigs afslutning samt en perspektivering på Østtysklands økonomiske og sociale situation i dag. I forløbet indgår undersøgelse af Det materialistiske, det idealistiske og det pluralistiske historiesyn

redegøre for centrale udviklingslinjer og begivenheder i Danmarks, Europas og verdens historie
redegøre for sammenhænge mellem den lokale, nationale, regionale, europæiske og globale udvikling
analysere eksempler på samspillet mellem mennesker, natur, kultur og samfund gennem tiderne
skelne mellem forskellige typer af forklaringer på samfundsmæssige forandringer og diskutere periodiseringsprincipper
reflektere over samspillet mellem fortid, nutid og fremtid samt over mennesket som historieskabt og historieskabende
opnå indsigt i, hvordan historiefaget kan medvirke til at forstå og løse problemer i nutiden
formulere historiske problemstillinger og relatere disse til elevernes egen tid
demonstrere viden om fagets identitet og metoder
