Not knowing where to start, I read this ebook and was immediately better prepared to begin planning my new practice. I had read some other books that seem to be more self promotion to do consulting and left me without much direction. In this book he lays out specific step you need to take and provides links to just about everything you will need to do to get you cash practice off the ground. This is truly a do it yourself book and you can do this without further direction. I will mention that author does promote consulting services which I am looking into as I go along. I highly recommend this ebook.
When I decided to open my own practice I had no idea what I was doing. There were so many questions and things that came up along the way that I didn’t know I would have to address. Trying to navigate all the various legalities of owning a business, knowing how to market to the patients I wanted to see and what billing software or EMR to use became very overwhelming. If it weren’t for all of David’s help along the way I may have thrown the towel in and given up. Lucky he talked me off the ledge several times and gave me the tools to build a successful and profitable practice. I started my practice alone and now I have three PTs and am opening a second location. I will probably have to hire another PT in the next several months! If you don’t know where to begin or are getting overwhelmed along the way then you should absolutely reach out to David. Buy his book and enlist him to be part of your team – you won’t be disappointed!
I've been in the insurance based PT market for years and wanted a resource to explore going cash. This book was spot on as far as concrete advice and guidance through the process. I would definitely recommend to those Who are interested in transitioning.
As I started the process of opening my own clinic, there were so many decisions to be made that I was overwhelmed. This book will systematically guide you through the appropriate steps and save you time and a lot of stress! It's a must read for anyone thinking about opening a business or already in the process.
I wasn't sure where to start or even if I wanted to get started on planning out my own PT practice, but after reading this ebook I felt more prepared, excited and confident that it would be something I could do. It provides a great structure for giving you tips and direction on where to start and how to carefully navigate all facets of a cash-based PT practice. It is a great do-it-yourself book and I would highly recommend it!
