the layout for this second edition as well as the cover are great improvements from the earlier hardbound edition which i also got.but for a book supposedly written by a Messianic Jew, was kind of disappointed how it seems heavily influenced by and still had gentile inclusions that weren't in the original manuscripts like the additional text at the Mark 7:19 and Yochanan 6:4. i immediately blotted out the text at Mark since it did not even have an explanation about it's real origin and it was clearly out of context. Yeshua never cancelled Leviticus 11.kind of a disappointment but then i guess there really is not one perfect translation out there. they would always have some measure of translator's bias so if you're really keen about studying Scripture, never rely on just 1 translation.

*Pros: I was quite unsure about ordering this Bible, to a point where i requested to cancel the order because I was nervous about it having "an author". However, Stern says that he did in fact collaborate with a Bible translator. But anyways, this Bible arrived quickly and in GREAT condition and is PACKED FULL of all kinds of info! Not only does it contain the Scripture of HaShem, but the Hebraic heritage/culture is restored throughout the text, and it includes the shabbat/Feast day readings along with an enormous glossary of Hebrew terms. The Hebrew names are restored to the books, and this version has SO MUCH MORE! This version is what I needed to increase my knowledge for my calling and in taking back My Forgotten Heritage (*check out Curt Landry!) as a covenant child of HaShem, saved only by the blood of Yeshua! Though I have merely skimmed through this Bible for the past two days, I would recommend this Bible! Shalom!*Cons: Nothing much. I do think the cover looks a bit 90's, but that might just be me! Other cover designs would be awesome though!

This is a messianic Jewish Bible including Old and New testaments. If you're tired of, or know that the denominational church has messed with Bible scriptures, here you'll find the most original and exact translation. My husband and I have read many Bibles and we'll stick with this one. You'll learn the real names of the people in the Bible and the real prayers that were given to us.

Poor quality, see through paper, makes it difficult to read.Smaller print than expected.It appears they tried to compact it as much as possible, which is sad, because it makes it unusable for the most part.The introduction pages are so full of perhaps, and maybes, making the authors sound so unsure of their information that one wonders why they bothered writing it in the first place.Disappointed and wouldn't recommend.
