Well that was another crazy and wild ride with Matt Drake and his team now known as “Strike Force One”. This time the team finds themselves in New York City with their nemesis the Blood King Luka Kovalenko in their hands. But it’s a race against the clock to stop a nuclear device from detonating. There are people are trying to rescue the Blood King as well as trying to kill him, so the team doesn’t know who is who as the clock ticks down. But the real problem is in Washington DC where another nuclear device is set to detonate, but can only be deactivated by the President of the United States himself?This was a very fast paced action thriller. It keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time, wondering what will happen next. Just when you think you know what’s coming next you are thrown for another twist in the story. Keep up the great storylines David and looking forward to Matt Drake 25. ‘I received a free advanced copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased review.’

A set-up novel of all set-up novels. Watching thisteam and these characters fight for possibly thelast time together was worth it, but the questionof where do they go from here is looking large. I,for one, can't wait to find out. Great work!

Another Matt Drake that you cannot put down. The Blood King keeps rising like a Phoenix. Can Matt Drake and his team finally take him down? Good Luck!

Ok. Brief. I liked it a lot. I am really enjoying the series . Then I will look for the stories of the strike force members.

Unfortunately nothing was resolved in the book all though the title gave the impression it would. Another long long sloth of same type of fighting through streets. Very disappointing for those of us that are fans of series. Another carrot for another book to string us all along. Tiring. Could be last one for me.
