This exciting new course offers a practical introduction to starting a business, working in a team, and exploring career opportunities in the business world. Students will develop key business skills and behaviours, learn how to take a business idea from concept to start-up, and gain insight into finance, legal requirements, and e-business. As part of Young Enterprise, students will set up and run their own business, compete against other teams, and receive expert guidance from industry professionals and a business advisor. Students will achieve an SQA-accredited NPA qualification, as well as an SCQF Level 6 qualification for their Young Enterprise work, equipping them with valuable skills for the future.

This Award would be relevant to a wide range of learners who have an interest in finding out about Scotland, its people and its linguistic, social, cultural, scientific and/or natural heritage.
Should you be doing (or achieved previously) 3 of the Highers below, it could be possible for you to achieve an additional level 6 (Higher equivalent) qualification in Scottish Studies:
Art, English, Environmental Science, Geography, History, Modern Studies, Philosophy, Media, Drama, Music, and/or Business Management.

This course is aimed at learners who have an interest in languages and are keen to develop their knowledge of leadership and the place languages hold in the workplace.
Throughout the year you will develop knowledge & understanding of Leadership, as well as learn language used in day-to-day life while living abroad. In addition, you will study topics such as employability to gain deeper insight into business language and the role languages play in workplace.
The language of study will be chosen by the class at the beginning of the year and will be French, German or Spanish.
The course is suitable for learners who enjoyed success in BGE languages, or those who already have a National 5 and want to add an additional language to their qualifications.

This course is aimed at learners who have an interest in languages and are keen to develop their knowledge of leadership and the place languages hold in global economy.
Throughout the year you will develop knowledge & understanding of Leadership. You will learn language of a more complex and detailed nature whilst studying topics such as employability. This will allow you to investigate the role languages play in our ever-changing global economy and to consider their place in your future career.
The language of study will be chosen by the class at the beginning of the year and will be French, German or Spanish.
The course is suitable for learners who already have a National 5 in a language and want to further their skills with a focus on employment. The course may also be suitable to those studying a Higher in another language who want to add an additional language without the pressure of an exam.
