Technical Graphics and Commercial and Visual Graphics will be covered throughout this course. Both areas must be completed with designs, drawings and work evidencing pupil's ability prior to starting their assignment.

This course is for pupils who enjoy using technology and developing creativity. Skills gained in this course would help learners gain entry to apprenticeships, further study or careers such as; Design, Media, Gaming, Architecture, Construction & Engineering, Sales & Business, Entertainment.
A problem-solving design based approach is used in the presentation work, setting learners with open design briefs. The projects will allow pupils to experience working in both the engineering and architecture fields of technical graphics as well as the advertising and graphic design field of commercial and visual graphics.
Students will enjoy working through CAD exercises using current industry standard techniques using software such as Inventor and the Serif Suite.

A recommendation on completion of BGE S3 Course
Completion of National 5 Art & Design or National 5 Design & Manufacture.
*Entry available with no experience on discussion with Principal Teacher, Faculty.
Homework will be set by the class teacher on a regular basis, this will be available on TEAMs.
