What will you learn?

Do you have an interest in the video games industry? This qualification will teach you how to become involved in writing, designing and producing computer games. An industry employing thousands of people across Scotland. Using industry standards you will plan, design and create your own video game, as well as researching what makes the world's most popular games so successful.

Units of Study for L5 include:

• Design - Research game types and platforms and discover what makes a game successful before creating your own game storyline, level and characters.

• Media Assets - Create the characters, backgrounds and sounds for your game

• Development - Program, test and publish your own game
