HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK

Universities Meet Our Tigers

This week, ANS welcomed representatives from St. Edward's University, Texas Christian University, Loyola University Chicago, University of Minnesota Twin Cities, George Mason University, Pepperdine University, The New School, Full Sail University, and Douglas College for another valuable college exploration opportunity.

Students participated in a Mock Admissions Committee workshop, where they had the chance to evaluate applications alongside admissions officers and gain a firsthand look at the college admissions process.

The visit concluded with a University Mini-Fair, giving students the opportunity to connect directly with university representatives, ask questions, and learn more about academic programs and campus experiences.

Through opportunities like these, our College Counseling Program continues to connect students with universities from around the world and help them make informed decisions about their future.

ANS Annual General Assembly 2026

This week, ANS held its 2026 Annual General Assembly, bringing together representatives of our member families and school leadership to review important matters concerning the Association and our school community. The Assembly marked the first official meeting with the newly elected Board Members and Vote Counting Committee.

During the meeting, Raúl Amador Somarriba was introduced as a Board Member representing U.S. citizens and Miguel Zavala Krüger as a Board Member representing Nicaraguan citizens. The Assembly also included reports from the PTO, Director General, and Finance team, providing an important opportunity to share updates and continue strengthening collaboration across the ANS community.
