Our Track and Field and Swimming teams brought their best to the National Competition! After an incredible showing at the National School Games, our Tigers demonstrated outstanding effort, discipline, and excellence, proving once again the strength of our athletic program.
We are exceptionally proud to announce that three of our student-athletes have officially qualified to represent ANS and Nicaragua at the Central American School Games 2026:
Vanessa Wheelock: Track and Field
Sophie Ponçon: Swimming
Vanessa Navarrete: Swimming
Congratulations to these outstanding athletes for their dedication and spectacular performances. Let’s Go Tigers!
June 4th was a day filled with cheers, high-fives and maybe a few proud tears. Our school community came together to celebrate the promotion ceremonies of our Kindergarten, 5th and 8th grade students.
These students have put in the hard work, and it showed. Watching them walk across the stage was a beautiful reminder of how much growth happens in a single year. They’ve shown incredible leadership, creativity and resilience this year.
To all our promoted students, you surely are on your path to greatness!
In celebration of Mother’s Day, our student community recently came together for a deeply moving visit to Fundación Ortiz Gurdián. It was a beautiful day filled with connection, celebration, and giving back to some truly remarkable women.
This special initiative brought together three of our student organizations, each contributing their unique talents to bring love and smiles to the patients:
The String Ensemble provided a beautiful, soothing soundtrack for the visit, filling the space with music and comfort.
The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) & The Pink Club joined forces to create beautiful, hand-made cards and assemble thoughtful gifts for the mothers.
We are incredibly proud of our students for stepping up, working together, and demonstrating what true community spirit look like. Thank you to everyone who made this visit possible!
For the third consecutive year, our innovative 5th-grade scientists have taken on the hands-on challenge of designing and building model nest boxes to provide safe, welcoming habitats for our local bird population.
This annual tradition bridges science and community impact: each year, one standout student design is selected to be fully constructed and permanently installed right here on our campus.
A massive shoutout goes to this year’s winning design team: Minje Kim, Benjamin Picado, Sebastián Rivas, Piero Aubin, and Matteo Pineda! We cannot wait to see their vision come to life in the coming weeks as they build the final nest box alongside our skilled ANS carpentry team.
Over the years, the birdhouses scattered across our campus have welcomed the birth of many birds, transforming into true homes where new life begins and flourishes.
Just like these safe havens, ANS serves as a nurturing environment where our students learn, grow, and truly find a place to belong. Keep an eye out for the newest addition to our campus trees soon!
