HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK

Roaring for Our Tigers: AASCA Pep Rally!

This week, our ANS community came together to celebrate school spirit, teamwork, and athletic excellence as we rallied behind our Tigers in preparation for AASCA Basketball!

Our Pep Rally was filled with energy, excitement, and Tiger pride as students, faculty, and staff united to cheer on our student-athletes. We were also honoured to welcome professional basketball players Xavier Zambrana, Jeffrey Heredia, and Luis Feliz, from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, who currently compete in Nicaragua’s Superior Basketball League.

The excitement continued on the court as our ANS Varsity Basketball Team delivered an outstanding performance in their exhibition match, securing a victory and giving our community even more reason to celebrate! The game brought our Tigers together as they cheered on their team and showcased the incredible school spirit that defines ANS.

It was a memorable celebration of athletic dedication, community, and Tiger pride as we look ahead to AASCA Basketball.

Let's keep the momentum going! Go Tigers!

Tigers in Pink: Raising Awareness, Inspiring Hope

Our ANS campus was filled in pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Day, as students and staff proudly wore the colour to show solidarity, raise awareness, and stand alongside those affected by breast cancer.

The Pink Club also hosted a special bake sale, creating an opportunity for students and staff to contribute while helping raise funds in support of the cause. Beyond the activities, the day served as an important reminder of the value of awareness, compassion, and collective action.

It was a meaningful display of school spirit and community involvement, showing how even small actions can make a difference when our Tigers come together with a shared purpose.
