***What Does Job 38:6 TRULY mean?
Here is Job 38:6 from the KJV. “Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner stone thereof;”
Who laid the corner stone? The corner stone did NOT lay itself!
Jesus is the chief corner stone! But what does the first half of this verse mean in the light of verse 5 and verse 6?
What does the FOUNDATIONS of the earth TRULY mean? Does the earth sit on a LITERAL foundation?

What Does the Bible ITSELF Mean by FOUNDATIONS of the Earth?
What Does Stretched the LINE Upon the Earth Mean?
What is the DIFFERENCE between the foundation of the WORLD and the foundation of the EARTH?
Some of you may say that you do not see any difference between these two phrases except the last word.
One phrase has the word “WORLD” as the last word. And the other phrase has the word “EARTH” as the last word.
And thus, to some of you, the world and the earth mean the same thing.
But other Christians have observed that the word “earth” seems to apply more to the physical planet Earth and the land.
Whereas the word “world” in many verses seems to apply more to the population of the earth and the world SYSTEM.
And the world system speaks of the ruling of the world’s population.
In other words, the world system speaks of the CARETAKERS that God has placed over the earth and the world's population.
The phrase “the foundation of the EARTH” is found FOUR times in the entire Bible and it is always referring to the ORIGINAL creation of the heavens and the earth by Yahweh in eternity past.
The FOUNDATION of the EARTH
Here are the four verses with the phrase “the foundation of the earth” and as you can see, they all refer to the FOUNDATION as what most Christians interpret as being the ORIGINAL creation of the heavens of the earth by Yahweh in the eternity past.
Psalm 102:25.
“Of OLD have you laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of your hands.”
Isaiah 48:13.
“My hand also has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.”
Zechariah 12:1.
“The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, says the LORD, which stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.”
Hebrews 1:10.
“And, You, Lord, in the beginning, have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands:”
So then, the QUESTIONS are as follows.
#1. Was the foundation of the earth of OLD, as in, in the ORIGINAL BEGINNING, speaking of in the eternity past, when Yahweh first created the heavens?
#2. Was the foundation of the earth of OLD, as in, AFTER the earth BECAME void and without form?
The Hebrew word translated as “WAS” also means BECAME, as in, came to pass.
Here is what the concordance says.

Total KJV occurrences: 3502.
God did not create the earth as a WASTELAND that was VOID and of no use. God created the earth to be inhabited.
Please read Isaiah 45:18.
“For thus says the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he created it NOT in VAIN, he formed it to be INHABITED: I am the LORD; and there is none else.”
So then, the earth BECAME void AFTER it was inhabited BEFORE the FOUNDATION of the WORLD.
Now, this sentence may sound like a contradiction to some of you.
For how can the earth be inhabited BEFORE the earth was created?
And that is because the true meaning of the phrase “the FOUNDATION of the WORLD” has nothing whatsoever to do with the CREATION of the heavens and the earth in the beginning in eternity past.
You see, the heavens and the earth were created by Yahweh, in the beginning, to be inhabited.
This was the original creation BEFORE the earth BECAME void and empty of its FORMER inhabitants.
What some Christians have failed to see is that the OLD earth was given to the angel Lucifer to rule over as its caretaker.
But pride entered into Lucifer and he rebelled against God to exalt his throne above the clouds to be like God.
Please read Isaiah 14:12-15.
“How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!
Isaiah 14:13. For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isaiah 14:14. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Isaiah 14:15. Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”
And that pride in Lucifer’s heart caused him to make war with Yahweh to exalt or expand the throne of the earth that God gave to him to be exalted above the clouds of the earth.
The greed in Lucifer’s heart wanted to be worshiped as God. And this war in heaven is still going on today.
Lucifer, who is now called Satan, was first cast out of heaven referring to God’s throne on the sides of the north where the city of God is located presently.
Satan was also banned from traveling the stars or the fiery stones speaking of travel in outer space by way of portals or wormholes.
So right now, Satan is limited to the height of the clouds as a rebel god of this present world.
And the only reason that God has not destroyed Satan and the fallen angels is that they are on trial being convicted of the crimes.

But for now, please read the LITERAL translation of Genesis 1:2 which teaches us about TWO BEGINNINGS.
There is the original creation of the heavens and the earth in the eternity past billions of years ago.
And then, there is the RE-CREATING or the RESTORATION of the earth some 12,000 to 6,000 years ago.
In other words. AFTER the earth BECAME void by the WAR between Lucifer and the fallen angels and God’s angels who remained faithful to him some 12,000 years ago, then God RESTORED the earth is SIX 1,000 yearlong days.
Then God created Adam on the sixth day, which was around 6,000 years ago.
Another way to say this is, around 12,000 years ago God CUT DOWN the heavens and the earth in His wrath and judgment against the fallen Elohim for waging a WAR against the other side of heaven.
Then, over the next 6,000 years from 12,000 BC to 6,000 BC, God RESTORED or recreacted the surface of the earth.
Thus, what is “called” the “creation” account in the first chapter of the Book of Genesis, is actually God FOUNDING the earth to make it habitable for His NEW creation of HUMANS to give THEM DOMINION of the earth.
In other words, God is in the process of JUDGING the fallen Eholim and PROMOTING those of us who are found WORTHY in Jesus to REPLACE the fallen Eholim as the NEW Elohim or RULERS over the whole earth during the world to come.

Genesis 1:2 from the LITERAL translation.
“And the earth she BECAME void and vacant and darkness over the face of the abyss and spirit of Elohim vibrating over faces of the waters.”
God DETHRONED Lucifer during the FOUNDATION of the WORLD.
If you look up the phrase “the FOUNDATION of the WORLD in the King James Version of the Bible, you will find it ten times.
And all ten times the SAME Greek word “katabole” Strong’s #2602 that is translated as FOUNDATION is used.
Here is the meaning of this Greek word “katabole”.

From G2598; a deposition, that is, founding; figuratively conception: - conceive, foundation.
Total KJV occurrences: 11.
The word deposition or to depose means to remove by force, to overthrow, to unseat, to remove, and to DETHRONE.
And when we look up the root word “kataballo” Strong’s # 2598 we see that it means to throw down or to cast down.

From G2596 and G906; to throw down: - cast down, lay.
Total KJV occurrences: 3.
My main point to my readers is that when a concordance gives a base word, a root word, the SAME AS word, or from another word, then ALSO look up the meaning of that word as well.
And G2602, katebole is FROM G2598. And G2598, kataballo, is from G2596 and G906.
Now, I am not going to quote G2596 in this study, because it means down, against, and in opposition.
So, pretty much it means the same as G2602, which is to dethrone.
And that is what I want my readers to see, foundation means to dethrone.
In other words, that is what the foundation of the world is all about, it is about the dethronement of Satan.
And thus, the beginning in Genesis 1:1 and also in John 1:1, are not about the beginning of the original creation of the earth.
So then, the FOUNDATION of the WORLD speaks of the DETHRONING of Lucifer and the RE-CREATING or the RESTORATION of the earth around 6,000 years ago and NOT the original creation of the heavens and the earth by Yahweh in eternity past.
You see dear children of God; the earth itself could be millions or even billions of years old.
But mankind was created only around 6000 years ago. Please see the study called J-1. God’s 7000 Year PLAN of Salvation?
So then, the phrase “In the BEGINNING” in John 1:1 is referring to the beginning of the creation of MANKIND and the DETHRONING of Lucifer.
In other words, the beginning in John 1:1 is a reference to Genesis 1:1-4, when God said, “Let there be LIGHT”.
The “word” that Almighty God SPOKE out from His MOUTH is a PROPHECY of Jesus, the SPOKEN word of PROPHECY that was made FLESH.
Thus, John 1:1-3 is actually speaking of God’s NEW creation, and NOT the original creation in the eternity past as church TRADITION wrongly teaches.
Satan has deceived the WHOLE church to be divided into some 45,000 different church denominations.
And in these last days, God is fulfilling the prophecy in Daniel chapter 12.

But for now, let us get back to the dethronement of Satan.
The dethroning of Lucifer, now called Satan, began right BEFORE the creation of Adam and Eve.
Sometime between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, Lucifer ruled and reigned on the throne that Almighty God gave to him to be a God or the TENANT of the Earth during what Bible Scholars call the Luciferian Age.
Remember that the HUMANS had NOT YET been created.
So, BEFORE the creation of mankind around 6,000 years ago, Lucifer ruled over another species of beings that were humanoid in appearance, but they were NOT the same species of humans that BEGAN with the creation of Adam and Eve.
My point right now is that the DETHRONING of Lucifer from the throne that Almighty God Himself GAVE to Lucifer as the TENANT of the earth began after Lucifer made WAR with God to try to take over God’s throne.
And the WHOLE plan of Almighty God is to REPLACE Lucifer with his TRIUMPHANT Messiah, our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ.
This concludes the verses on the foundation of the EARTH.
Let us begin section two called the foundation of the WORLD.
Section 2.
The FOUNDATION of the WORLD!
Here are the ten verses with the phrase “the FOUNDATION of the WORLD” in them.
Matthew 13:35.
“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.”
And from what we have learned about the phrase “the FOUNDATION of the WORLD”, this verse is speaking of the DETHRONING of Lucifer, the earth BECOMING void and vacant during the WAR of dethroning Lucifer/
Then came the 6,000 years of the RE-CREATION or the RESTORATION of the earth in sixth-day of 1000 years for each day.
And now, God still in the process crowning of a NEW Kings over the earth.
Jesus has already been made the King of kings, but he will not technically be crowned to rule over the WHOLE earth until the world to come.
Right now, Jesus os our King by CHOICE when we chose to BELIEVE on his NAME to be saved.
Now, keep in mind that Almighty God has ENEMIES, Satan, and the fallen Elohim.
Thus, God needed to keep His plan of salvation a SECRET until the part of His plan of the Lamb SLAIN before the foundation of the world was FINISHED and God’s Messiah on the cross.
For you see, had the principalities and power known, then they would NOT have influenced men to crucify the Lord of glory.
Matthew 25:34.
“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:”
Again, the foundation of the world does NOT refer to the original creation of the heavens and the earth in eternity past but rather speaks of the RESTORATION of the earth some 6000 years ago.
Luke 11:50.
“That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;”
This is speaking from Genesis chapter 2 all the way through to the coming of Jesus.
Mankind has only existed for some 6000 years. The FOUNDATION of the world is speaking of the DETHRONING of Lucifer, the earth BECOMING void and vacant during the WAR of dethroning Lucifer, the RE-CREATION or the RESTORATION of the earth AND the crowning of a NEW King over the earth.
John 17:24.
“Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world.”
The verse speaks of a PROPHECY of the Messiah being glorified in the future which was prophesied of AFTER the dethroning of Lucifer, but right before God devises His PLAN of salvation.
So, as God was RESTORING the earth, He purposed to REPLACE Satan and the fallen angels or Elohim with NEW Elohim who will remain faithful to Him.
And as part of His PLAN, God chose to create man and the Son of MAN to be an INFERIOR species of being who would be a little lower than the angels.
So, God said to the Elohim, let us make man in our image.
And then, we will see if an inferior species of being, called the humans, will live before me without sin.
And if even one human will live their life without sin, then I will destroy Lucifer and the fallen angels whom I created PERFECT in the day in which I created them.
This will prove that I am not to be blamed for creating them with a sinful nature.
Ephesians 1:4.
According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:”
This verse speaks of God’s PLAN of SALVATION to be in His yet future Son as WHAT God had chosen AFTER the DETHRONING of Lucifer, but right BEFORE the RESTORATION of the earth that is called the FOUNDATION of the world.
Hebrews 4:3.
“For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.”
Again, this verse is NOT speaking of the original creation of the heavens and the earth in eternity past.
But rather, this verse is speaking of the RECREATING of the earth and God declaring the END of His PLAN of salvation from the beginning.
Hebrews 9:26.
“For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world has he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.”
This verse is saying that Jesus is NOT like the old priesthood that needed to make sacrifices every year, because if Jesus was like that, THEN Jesus would have to suffer and die on the cross even year unto the completion of the foundation of the world.
You see, there are three steps that God is taking to dethrone Lucifer.
The first step took place around 6000 years ago called the FOUNDATION of the WORLD.
The next step will take place AT the coming of Jesus which is another FOUNDATION of the world.
There will be another WAR right before the coming of Jesus and Satan will be cast down from his ruling as the principalities of the air down to the earth.
Satan will know that his time is short, and he will make war with the saints for 3 1/2 years or for forty-two months having 30 days in each month.
Then Satan will be bound AT the coming of Jesus and he will be cast into the bottomless pit.
Satan will remain in the bottomless pit for 1000 years. And WHEN he is released there will be a third and final STEP of God’s PLAN, which He FOUNDED at the time of the FOUNDATION of the world.
1 Peter 1:20.
“Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,”
This verse teaches us that Jesus was PROPHESIED to come into existence after the dethroning of Lucifer and right before God restored the earth.
When God said let there be LIGHT, he was PROPHESYING of his yet future Son to be the light of the world.
Revelation 13:8.
“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
This verse teaches us that God’s PLAN of salvation was planned AFTER the DETHRONING of Lucifer and right before the RECREATING of the earth.
The word translated as “FROM” the foundation of the world also means AFTER the foundation of the world.
So, the Lamb was slain in the mind and PLAN of God AFTER the CUTTING DOWN of Lucifer from being the CARETAKER of the earth in a previous age BEFORE the creation of mankind.
Revelation 17:8.
“The beast that you saw was, and is not; and SHALL ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: (Or into DESTRUCTION in the lake of fire on the final day of judgment and DETHRONING of Lucifer who is now called Satan) and they that dwell on the earth shall WONDER, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, WHEN they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”
To ME, this verse teaches of the THIRD foundation of the world meaning the third stage, the step of God DETHRONING Lucifer PERMANENTLY by destroying him in the lake of fire after the 1000-year reign of Jesus.
There are three Greek words that are translated as the English word “world”.
But for now, we are interested in the one Greek word that is used every time in the phrase “the foundation of the WORLD”.
Here is what the concordance says that this Greek word “kosmos” means.

Probably from the base of G2865; orderly arrangement, that is, decoration; by implication the world (in a wide or narrow sense, including its inhabitants, literally or figuratively [morally]): - adorning, world.
Total KJV occurrences: 187.
And here is what the base word means.

From a primary word κολυμβος kolumbos (to tend, that is, take care of); properly to provide for, that is, (by implication) to carry off (as if from harm; generally, obtain): - bring, receive.
Total KJV occurrences: 11.
In other words, Lucifer was the caretaker of the earth in a previous age.
The previous age is called the Luciferian age and the Pre-Adamic Age.
And because Lucifer rebelled against God there arose a need to REPLACE the caretaker of the earth.
But when God was about to destroy Lucifer and the fallen angels, Lucifer falsely accused God of creating him IMPERFECT and thus it was not his fault that he rebelled against God.
So, to clear God’s name he devised an ingenious plan to dethrone Satan permanently and REPLACE him at the same time.
You see dear children of God, the writers of the New Testament used a DIFFERENT Greek word when referring to a FOUNDATION as the BEGINNING of something that is being built for the first time.
Here is what the concordance says concerning this other Greek word translated as foundation.

From a derivative of G5087; something put down, that is, a substruction (of a building, etc.), (literally or figuratively): - foundation.
Total KJV occurrences: 16.
It is used 16 times and never as the foundation of the WORLD.
But it is used one time when speaking of Yahweh creating the EARTH in Hebrews 1:10, where the writer of Hebrews is quoting Psalm 102:26.
My point is that it was God’s PLAN of SALVATION that was ordained or CHOSEN AFTER the earth became void and BEFORE God created mankind a little lower and INFERIOR to His previous creation the angels to REPLENISH the earth that had BECOME vacant.
The next verse that we will study is Ephesians 1:4 called ** Ephesians 1:4 ** The TRUE Biblical Meaning!
Ephesians 1:4.
“According as he has chosen us in him BEFORE the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:”
Calvinist Christians WRONGLY interpret Ephesians 1:4 to mean that God chose certain individual people before they were ever born to be saved.
And to THEM, that also means all of the rest of the people who reject Jesus who chosen to REJECT Jesus BEFORE they were BORN.
But I assure you that their INTERPRETATION of predestination is NOT what the Bible ITSELF teaches us.
In other words, TRUE SOUND Biblical predestination is NOT the Calvinistic understanding of the Scriptures that teach predestination.
This concludes section two and in section three, we will cover Job 38:6 more in-depth.
Section 3.
Verse Study on Job 38:6
When some Christians read the Bible and they read words like “foundation” of the earth, then they assume that the word foundation means a physical literal foundation like the foundation of a house or a building.
But in truth, the Hebrew word that is “translated” as the foundation of the earth means that Almighty God sat down with the angels to consult together a REMEDY to end the WAR waged by Lucifer and his angels.
Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Hebrew word “yâsad” translated as “foundations” in Job 38:4.

A primitive root; to set (literally or figuratively); intensively to found; reflexively to sit down together, that is, settle, consult: - appoint, take counsel, establish, (lay the, lay for a) found (-ation), instruct, lay, ordain, set, X sure.

In other words, to lay down sound foundational rules for the earth to SETTLE the accusation made against Yahweh that He is the “Creator” and therefore it is Yahweh’s fault that this war happened.
And thus, it would be unjust to cast Lucifer and the angels who rebelled into the fire that God PREPARED to destroy them, according to Matthew 25:41.
So then, to CLEAR His NAME, Yahweh devised a PLAN to SETTLE that false accusation and JUDGE Lucifer and the fallen angels GUILTY as CHARGED.
And Yahweh kept that plan a SECRET from His enemies.
For you see, had they known God’s full plan, then they would not have crucified the Lord of glory, according to 1 Corinthians 2:7,8.
1 Corinthians 2:7,8.
“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, (Or SECRETLY hidden in prophecy disguised as historical events and people) even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
1 Corinthians 2:8. Which none of the princes of this world (Or this AGE) knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”
Now, the Hebrew word translated as “foundations” in Job 38:6 is DIFFERENT from the Hebrew word in Job 38:4, the foundations of the earth.
Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Hebrew word “'eden” translated as “foundations” in Job 38:6.

Total KJV occurrences: 56.
In other words, something as the basis for STRENGTH. And it carries the same meaning as H113, the Hebrew word “âdôn” translates as Lord and lord, meaning to RULE.

From an unused root (meaning to rule); sovereign, that is, controller (human or divine): - lord, master, owner. Compare also names beginning with “Adoni-”.

And the “corner stone” laid by Yahweh, but rejected by the builders, BECAME the head of the corner or the Chief corner stone, according to Psalm 118:22-24 and many other verses of Scripture in the New Testament.
Psalm 118:22-24.
“The stone which the builders refused is BECOME the head stone of the corner.
Psalm 118:23. This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
Psalm 118:24. This is the DAY which the LORD has made; (Speaking of the DAY that Almighty God raises the Son of MAN, Jesus, from the dead and GAVE him eternal life to be MADE the Lord over the whole earth during Yahweh’s SABBATH) we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
With that being said, let us now read Job 38:5,6 in the context of verse 4 and 7. And then we will look up the meanings of the Hebrew words verses 5 and 6.
Now, I already covered Job 38:1-4 and Job 38:7 in other Verse Studies. And in those studies, we learned that Job is a FIGURE of Jesus.
And thus, while Yahweh is speaking to Job, He is ALSO speaking to His Messiah, Jesus, through the Scriptures, revealing to Jesus that he is the one prophesied in the Scriptures.
So then, as you read the book of Job keep that in your mind, Job is a figure of Jesus.
Job 38:4-7.
“Where were you (Prophetically speaking of the Messiah) when I laid the foundations of the earth? (Or the foundation rules for the earth during this TRIAL) Declare, if you have understanding. (Or rehearse to Me if you understand that you are the WISDOM that I prophesied in the Scriptures, which testify of you, My Messiah)
Job 38:5. Who has laid the measures thereof, if you know? (Or who appointed the extending of the earth for two more ages before the Day of Judgment?) Or who has stretched the line upon it? (Or who has OVERTHROWN the RULE over the earth?)
Job 38:6. Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? (Or how long for the RULING over the earth to be SETTLED?
Or why were the rulers thereof DROWNED? Keep in mind that the earth was FLOODED in Genesis 1:2 and Psalm 104:4-6) Or who laid the corner stone thereof; (Or who points to the chieftain to obtain children? Or who decides who will be the ruler over the earth during the age after this present world?
Where were YOU)
Job 38:7. When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?”
In other words, Yahweh is speaking to His Messiah revealing to Jesus that Yahweh will GIRD him with the RULE over the earth during the world to come.
And Yahweh is saying to us that He FOUNDED the rules for the angels and who would RULE over the earth to JUDGE Lucifer at the time WHEN the faithful angels united together to get the victory over the fallen angels and shouted for triumph.
And to me, that is the TRUE sound Biblical meaning of Job 38:1-7. Yahweh is in the process of DETHRONING Satan and PROMOTING Jesus to be the God over the whole earth.
And He is doing this to JUDGE Lucifer and the fallen angels for waging a WAR against Him and the angels who remained faithful to Him.
For you see, the New Testament REVEALS the Old Testament. And the Greek word that is “translated” as FOUNDATION of the world means DEPOSITION.
And deposition means the act of deposing someone, especially a monarch or ruler.

And the earth was CUT DOWN to BECOME void and without form for the PURPOSE of a NEW CREATION of God that will replace Lucifer and the fallen angels.
So then, the foundation of the earth has nothing to do with when the earth was originally created in the eternity past.
But rather, God restored the earth and founded or laid down some founding rules to have a TRIAL to see which God is the TRUTHFUL God, and which god is the LYING god.
Now, Christadelphian Christians do NOT believe that Satan, the Devil, is a REAL literal BEING. And the Christadelphian Christians ALSO wrongly believe, as well as, some other church denominations, that God created EVIL and that Yahweh is the CAUSE of all of the EVIL in the world.
Plus, Christadelphian Christians, as well as other church denominations such as the Roman Catholic Church, sincerely, but wrongly believe in F-12. The FALSE doctrine of ORIGINAL SIN.
And thus, they build their other man-made doctrines upon the false doctrine of every person being born with a so-called sinful NATURE.

And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
