Was this God’s plan at the beginning?
Another undeniable fact is that Jesus will rule and reign for 1000 years in the world to come, according to Revelation 20:1-8.
But have you ever wondered WHY Jesus will ONLY rule for 1000 years, and then COMMIT the ruling of the Kingdom back into the hands of his God and Father at the END of the Millennial reign of Jesus, according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28?
Let us go ahead and read two passages of Scriptures to see some of the reasons for WHY Yahweh highly exalted the Son of MAN to become a God to rule over the earth for 1000 years.
Revelation 20:1-8.
“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Revelation 20:2. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and BOUND him a thousand years,
Revelation 20:3. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, THAT (Or so THAT or in ORDER THAT) he should deceive the nations no more, TILL the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that (Or after the 1000-year reign of Jesus has ENDED) he MUST be loosed a little season.
Revelation 20:4. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and JUDGMENT was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had NOT worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned WITH Christ a thousand years.
Revelation 20:5. But the rest of the dead lived not again UNTIL the thousand years were FINISHED. (Or UNTIL the reign of Jesus and the saints comes to an END when the literal 1000 year span of time is completed) This is the first resurrection. (Speaking of the resurrection of the saints who are in Jesus Christ in this PRESENT world that will take place at the COMING of Jesus to rapture his church)
Revelation 20:6. Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign WITH him a thousand years.
Revelation 20:7. And when the thousand years are EXPIRED, Satan shall be let loose out of his prison,
Revelation 20:8. And shall go out to DECEIVE the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to BATTLE: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.”
So then, the REASON for WHY Satan will be BOUND in the bottomless pit for 1000 years in the world to come, is so that Satan cannot deceive or TEMPT the nations DURING the REIGN of Jesus.
In other words, Satan will no LONGER be the god over the earth, because this present AGE of the earth will have come to an END at the COMING of Jesus.
So, WHY will Satan no longer be the god over the earth DURING the world to come?
In other words, what is the PURPOSE of Satan being bound for 1000 years, while Jesus rules as God, in the name of God, for his God and Father, over the whole earth during the age to come?
Yahweh wants to PROVE that the new God whom he created will not even THINK to grasp at equality with Him by FORCE like Lucifer did.
You see, Jacob, whom God named Israel is a FIGURE of Jesus.
And the name Jacob means SUPPLANTER, which means to supersede and REPLACE. And the name Israel means he shall rule as God.
So Jesus will REPLACE Satan as the God over the WHOLE earth for 1000 years.
But again, WHY is Yahweh doing all of this?
If you remember in the previous chapters, we learned that the REASON for WHY God created MAN and the Son of MAN was to STILL His ENEMIES, according to Psalm 8:1-6.
We learned in Deuteronomy 4:32, Isaiah 14:12-15, and Ezekiel 28:14-18 that the anointed Cherub, who was the god over the earth in the previous AGE before God created Adam, wages a WAR against God.
And in Psalm 8:5, we learned that Yahweh created MAN and the Son of MAN a little LOWER or INFERIOR to the gods.
For you see, the Hebrew word translated as “a little lower than the ANGELS” is the Hebrew word “Elohim”, which means God, god, and gods in the plural.
We also learned that Lucifer blasphemed and polluted God’s NAME by falsely accusing Yahweh of CREATING him flawed.
So, Yahweh said to the Elohim, “Let us make MAN in our image after our likeness and give them dominion or RULE over the earth.”
Then God alone and by himself created Aleph Tav Adam, according to Genesis 1:27, as you can clearly see by all of the SINGULAR pronouns referring back to the creator, the one God in one person, who alone is the Father.
The Aleph and the Tav are the FIRST and the LAST letters of the Hebrew alphabet and Jesus is called the FIRST and the LAST, the beginning and the end, in Revelation 22:13.
Genesis 1:27.
“So, God created (Aleph Tav) MAN (A little LOWER or inferior to the Elohim, according to Psalm 8:1-6 for the very PURPOSE to STILL His ENEMIES, the fallen Elohim.
The untranslated Hebrew letters, Aleph and Tav are pointers to the Messiah. So, God CREATED Aleph Tav Messiah Adam) in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.”
So then, MAN and the Son of MAN, Jesus are the WITNESSES for Yahweh’s NAME sake to PROVE that what Yahweh CREATES, He creates PERFECT on the day that He created it.
And thus, the first Adam was given ONE commandment to see if an inferior creation could live without disobeying God’s authority as his Creator.
Everything was going God’s way at first. Adam tended the Garden of Eden. Adam named all of the animals.
Then God decided to create Adam a helpmate. And in the LIGHT of Satan being the ACCUSER of the brethren and his accusing God about Job being protected and blessed by God, then it would not surprise me if Satan complained to God about Adam being ALONE.
For example, I can imagine him saying something like, “this is not a fair test, God, because this is only ONE creature that You created. Create him a mate and see if they will obey you.”
My point is that man did not sin, UNTIL Satan INTERFERED with the TRIAL by TEMPTING and DECEIVING man to disobey God’s one commandment.
That interference of Satan with the trial to make it go his way, then allowed God to legally HELP man overcome the INFLUENCE of His enemy tempting and deceiving man to rebel against God.
Now that you understand that DURING this PRESENT world, Satan is allowed to be the god over the earth, please also understand that God can HELP man DURING this PRESENT world to overcome Satan.
But DURING the next age of the earth in the world to come, Yahweh has COMMITTED all authority and power to rule as God over the whole earth into the hands of His CHOSEN ONE, the Son of MAN, Jesus.
Remember that Yahweh MADE the Son of MAN, Jesus both Lord and Messiah after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36.
And according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28, Acts 2:34-36, Matthew 22:44, Hebrews 1:13, Hebrews 10:12-13, and the prophecy in Psalm 110:1, Jesus was made Lord, UNTIL Yahweh is finished putting all of His ENEMIES under his feet.
Let us go ahead and read 1 Corinthians 15:20-28 from a couple different translations.
Here is 1 Corinthians 15:20-28 from the King James Version.
“But now Christ has risen from the DEAD, and BECOME the firstfruits of them that slept. (In other words, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was the FIRST human Son of God BORN from the DEAD to be given the divine nature of IMMORTALITY to never die again, to become the FIRST of the firstfruits unto God.
And according to 2 Peter 1:4, we ALSO shall be made partakers of the divine nature at the coming of Jesus.
For you see, it was the Son of MAN, Jesus, who became the express IMAGE of the invisible God to become the FIRSTBORN of every CREATURE, the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD, the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN)
1 Corinthians 15:21. For SINCE by MAN came death, by MAN came also the resurrection of the dead.
1 Corinthians 15:22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:23. But every MAN in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; (Or the Son of MAN whom God made both Lord and Christ was the FIRST in the order of MAN to become the FIRST of the firstfruits unto God) afterward THEY who ARE Christ's at his coming. (Or the second order of MAN to become the firstfruits unto God will be those of us who are found to be the good and faithful servants of Jesus at his coming.
And we will rule WITH our brother Jesus as Gods over the whole earth for 1000 years)
1 Corinthians 15:24. Then comes the END, (Speaking of the END of the 1000-year reign of Jesus during the world to come) WHEN he shall have DELIVERED up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
1 Corinthians 15:25. For he must reign, UNTIL He has put all enemies under his feet.
1 Corinthians 15:26. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. (Which is cast into the lake of fire on the final Day of Judgment AFTER the 1000-year reign of Jesus has ENDED)
1 Corinthians 15:27. For He has put all things under his feet. But when He said all things are put under him, it is manifest that He is excepted, (Or in it clearly made KNOWN that when Yahweh prophesied that He would put all things under his feet that Yahweh was NOT including Himself to be put under his feet.
But rather, all things on the earth and in the heavens around the earth) which did put all things under him.
1 Corinthians 15:28. And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son ALSO himself be SUBJECT unto Him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.”
And “God” is clearly identified as being the FATHER in the CONTEXT in verse 24. The LITERAL translation says, “that THE God might be the all in all.”
In other words, the end goal of Yahweh is for HIM to be THE ONE TRUTHFUL God to everyone.
To explain the phrase “all in all” in another way is to say that the reason for Jesus to commit the kingdom back into the hands of Almighty God the Father is so that the Father will be the God, EVERYTHING to or for everyone by God dwelling in everyone like He dwells in Christians in this present world.
So then, HOW does a created MAN whom God HIGHLY exalted to be made Lord and God over the earth for 1000 years PROVE that Satan is a LIAR, and that God did indeed CREATE Lucifer perfect on the day God created him?
Well, the whole REASON that God creates MAN and the Son of MAN in the first place was to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels, to put an END to WARS, violence, crime, and the OPPRESSING of the weak or the poor for all eternity future.
And the second reason for God FINISHING His creation of man in the IMAGE of His Son, Jesus, is to REPLACE Satan and the fallen angels with His FAITHFUL and TRUE WITNESSES as the PILLARS in the temple of Yahweh, according to Revelation 3:12.
And thus, when Jesus reigns for 1000 years WITHOUT having any WARS and even the animals are at PEACE with themselves and with people, then that will PROVE that what God CREATES, He creates PERFECT on the day that He created it.
God’s NAME will be cleared, and all EVIL will be destroyed and turned to ashes to never rise again.
Now AFTER the Millennial AGE of Jesus called the NEW Heavens and the NEW earth, the Bible does not give us a whole lot of information.
But God does tell us more than enough about the AGE of the world to come that will last for 1000 years.

And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
