Book 4 Chapter 5.
The Phrase “ALL things” should be “THE ALL”.
There are several verses of Scripture in the New Testament where the translators of the KJV ADDED the word “THINGS” after the word “ALL”.
And the translators of the KJV also did NOT translate the Greek word “ho” as the definite article “THE” to show that the word “ALL” refers to a SPECIFIC group of PEOPLE.
And by the translators of the KJV and other translations of the Bible ADDING the word “THINGS” to say “ALL THINGS were created by him” misleads some Christians to wrongly believe that Jesus is the creator of the entire universe.
But the TRUTH of the matter is that Almighty God is the Creator who created THE ALL in him. Let us read Colossians 1:15-17 OUT of its CONTEXT so that you can see what I mean.
I will highlight the words that could be more CORRECTLY translated in green.
In other words, the words in green are INCORRECTLY translated.
Colossians 1:15-17 from the KJV.
“Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Colossians 1:16. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Colossians 1:17. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
Now, let us read these same three verses of Scripture being more correctly translated to AGREE with the CONTEXT of the whole passage of Scripture and to AGREE with the rest of the Bible as well.
Colossians 1:15-17 with a more correct translation.
“Who is the IMAGE of the invisible God, the firstborn of every CREATURE: (First of all, please notice that Jesus is a CREATURE or a CREATION who was created by Yahweh to be made in the IMAGE of Yahweh, the unseen God.
And a being who has been CREATED by God cannot be the creator of everything that exists. Now, a created being, such as Lucifer, can be CALLED a god by Yahweh setting Lucifer to be a god over the earth in a precious age of the earth.
But that created angelic being we call Lucifer is NOT the Almighty God Himself, who alone and by Himself created the heavens and the earth, according to Isaiah 44:24.
And thus, the word “God” is simply a TITLE which can refer to THE God, a god, and many gods)
Colossians 1:16. For in him THE all were created, THE that are in heaven, and THE that are in earth, THE visible and THE invisible, whether there are thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: THE ALL were created because of him, and INTO him:
Colossians 1:17. And he is prior to and above ALL, and in him THE all comprise his BODY.”
And when we read the CONTEXT in Colossians 1:18-21, then we can clearly see that the more CORRECT translations above AGREE with the whole context of the book of Colossians.
We will read these three verses from the KJV first. And then, we will read a more CORRECT translation of these verses.
And one word in verse 20 that was completely translated incorrectly in the KJV. It is the Greek word “ho” that is almost always translated as the definite article “THE”.
But in verse 20, it is wrongly translated as “THINGS” in the earth and as “THINGS” in heaven. And people are NOT things.
And due to these incorrect translations in the KJV and also in other translations, these errors have misled some Christians to wrongly believe that Jesus created all THINGS.
But the TRUTH of the matter is that Yahweh the Father created THE ALL who believe INTO the body of Jesus His Messiah.
And, according to Acts 5:29-31, God resurrected the Son of MAN, Jesus, to be a Prince and Savior.
Colossians 1:18-21 from the KJV.
“And he is the HEAD of the body, the church: (Which AGREES perfectly with verse 17, “And he is prior to and ABOVE ALL, and in him THE all comprise his BODY.”) who is the BEGINNING, (Meaning that Jesus is the BEGINNING of the CREATION of God, referring to the Son of MAN, Jesus, being the FIRST of God’s NEW CREATURES of righteousness made in the IMAGE of God.
And this AGREE with Colossians 1:15, “Who is the IMAGE of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of every CREATURE”) the FIRSTBORN from the dead; that in ALL he might have the preeminence. (Or that the FIRST human to become the FIRSTBORN Son of God might be the HEAD over the ALL who will become the eternal sons of God to ALSO enter into glory WITH Jesus our brother)
Colossians 1:19. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; (Notice that it was after the cross and resurrection that it PLEASE the Father to HIGHLY EXALT His human Son to OBTAIN a NAME more excellent that the angels)
Colossians 1:20. And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, in him to reconcile ALL unto himself; by reason of him, I say, whether they are THE (G3588 that is wrongly translated as “things” in the KJV. The Greek word “ho” is almost always translated as the definite article “THE”) in earth, or THE (Again, Strong’s number G3588 that is wrongly translated as “things” in the KJV. The Greek word “ho” is almost always translated as the definite article “THE”)in heaven.
Colossians 1:21. And you, (Speaking of THE ALL who believe in Jesus as being the Messiah, the Son of the living God) that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has he reconciled.”
The Greek word “pas” means ALL. It can mean ALL “things” when the context is speaking of things.
But the word “things” is not one of the MEANINGS of the Greek word “pas”.
And thus, when the translators ADD English words for clarity in the English language, then those added words should be in “ITALICS”.
For example, in Colossians 1:18, the translators of the KJV have correctly placed the word “things” in italics.
Colossians 1:18.
“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.”
Now, there are several verses where the word “things” was added by the translators in the KJV that misleads some Christians to wrongly believe that Jesus is the creator of the entire universe.
But in other verses of Scripture such as Titus 1:15, the added word “things” can mislead Christians to wrongly believe that they can live in SIN.
Let me show you what I mean.
Titus 1:15.
“Unto the PURE ALL THINGS are PURE: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.”
The correct understanding of this verse is that to us who are purified by the blood of Jesus ALL who believe are pure. But to the lost or the unbelieving no person is pure.
Now, some Christians have wrongly interpreted this verse to mean that NOTHING is a sin based on the KJV translation saying that all THINGS are PURE.
And thus, some Christians are being misled to live in a lifestyle of sin because of errors of translation in the KJV which led to errors of interpreting those verses of Scripture.
Here is another example where some Christians are led to wrongly believe that God will eventually save every single thing, including Satan and the fallen angels.
1 Timothy 6:13.
“I give you charge in the sight of God, who quickens (Or who gives eternal life to) all THINGS, and [before] Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;”
This verse should be translated as follows.
1 Timothy 6:13.
“I give you charge in the sight of God, who quickens (Or who gives eternal life to) THE ALL, and Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;”
In other words, Paul is giving all Christians the charge of KEEPING this commandment or this authoritarian teaching that it is God who gives life to THE ALL who believe and to Jesus the Messiah, who Pontius Pilate gave a good witness. “Will you that I release unto you the King of the Jews?”
And Pontius Pilate wrote a title in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin that said, Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews.
John 19:19.
“And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
But what some Christians have not yet seen is that God EXALTED His servant David to be His FIRSTBORN.
For you see, the prophecy in Psalm 89:27 says that God will make His FIRSTBORN higher than the kings of the earth.
Psalm 89:18-27.
“For the LORD is our defense; and the Holy One of Israel is our king. (Or Yahweh is our defense; and the highly exalted, Son of MAN, Jesus, the Holy One of Israel is our King)
Psalm 89:19. Then You spoke in vision to Your Holy One, and said, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have EXALTED one chosen out of the people.
Psalm 89:20. I have FOUND David My servant; with My holy oil have I anointed him:
Psalm 89:21. With whom My hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.
Psalm 89:22. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
Psalm 89:23. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
Psalm 89:24. But my faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him: and in My name shall his horn be exalted.
Psalm 89:25. I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
Psalm 89:26. He shall cry unto Me, You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
Psalm 89:27. Also I will make him my FIRSTBORN, higher than the kings of the earth.”
Here is another verse of Scripture where the translators of the KJV should NOT have ADDED the word “THINGS”.
Romans 8:28.
“And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
Some Christians are misled to wrongly believe that EVERYTHING that happens whether good or EVIL works together for the GOOD of those who love God.
And thus, some Christians blindly ACCEPT all of the evil THINGS that come from the enemy to oppress them.
To me, this verse is better understood that the ALL of who BELIEVE work TOGETHER for the GOOD of the brethren who love God.
And here is one more verse of Scripture that has the word “THINGS” wrongly ADDED. Some Christians wrongly interpret this verse to mean that God ORDAINED or predestined ALL THINGS to happen exactly as they happen whether good or EVIL.
Ephesians 1:11.
“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who works ALL THINGS after the counsel of His own will:”
The translators of the KJV ADDED the word “THINGS” and they also did NOT translate the Greek word “Ta” Strong’s number G3588, which means THE.
So then, this verse should read as follows.
Ephesians 1:11 more correctly translated.
“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who is MIGHTY in THE ALL after the counsel of His own will:”
We will look at one more verse in this chapter where the translators of the KJV should NOT have ADDED the word “THINGS” after the the word ALL.
Ephesians 5:20.
“Giving thanks always for ALL THINGS unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;”
For you see, some Christians are misled by the added word “THINGS” to wrongly teach that we are to give THANKS for all of the EVIL things that we are tempted with and that we are oppressed with from the enemy.
This verse is better understood to always give thanks to God FOR ALL who BELIEVE in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. For you see, the context in the very next verse says to submit to one another.
In the next chapter we will cover the other verses with the ADDED word “THINGS” that mislead Christians to wrongly believe that Jesus created the entire universe.
But in truth, they actually mean that THE ALL who believe are created by Almighty God the Father INTO the body of Jesus Christ.

And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
