INS Sant Feliu - 2013

El meu treball és un estudi dels petits comerços dedicats a l’alimentació de Sant Feliu de Guíxols entre els anys 1925 i 2012.

Vaig escollir l’alimentació concretament perquè crec que és el sector que mostra millor si els esdeveniments històrics afectaven al comerç i perquè té dades suficients per treballar, ja que és antic.

A l’Arxiu Municipal i a la Cambra de Comerç vaig trobar el nombre de comerços de cada sector i cada any entre 1925 i 2011. Aquesta informació la vaig estructurar en gràfics lineals dividits en etapes per saber si els fets d’aquell període havien tingut incidència o no en el comerç de l’alimentació.

Per fer figurar l’any 2012 al treball vaig analitzar diferents empreses que existeixen actualment i vaig obtenir l’empresa alimentaria ganxona més comuna actualment.

Alguns d’aquests negocis em van resultar tan representatius que vaig incloure la seva història sencera al treball. Analitzant-los vaig trobar un nou negoci prototip molt diferent.

My research project is a study of small businesses devoted to food in Sant Feliu de Guíxols between 1925 and 2012.

I have chosen food specifically because I think it is the sector that best shows if historical events affected business and because there is enough information to work with.

In the Arxiu Municipal and Cambra de Comerç I found the number of firms of each sector and all the data from 1925 to 2011. I organized all this information into linear graphs which were divided into time periods. This way, I could find out if the historical facts of that period had affected the food shops or not.

In order to analyse some data from 2012 I made a study of different firms which exist nowadays and I created a representative prototype of food businesses in Sant Feliu at the time.

Some of these shops were so representative that I included their whole history in my project. By analysing them I designed a new business prototype very different from the first one.
