Aquest treball parteix de la idea de posar miralls orientables a la Lluna, amb l’objectiu principal d’aconseguir reduir els costos energètics de l’enllumenat públic i ajudar en situacions d’emergència com ara incendis, terratrèmols, naufragis, etc. Els miralls es concentrarien al centre de la cara visible de la Lluna, portarien l’energia lluminosa del Sol cap a les zones nocturnes de la Terra que es volguessin il·luminar amb un rendiment del 100% ja que no apliquem cap conversió d’energia, tindrien una superfície d’1m2 i serien suportats per una estructura lleugera amb una junta cardant orientable en altitud i azimut. A més l’escàner (estructura + mirall) tindria assignades, per ordre de prioritat, les diferents coordenades de latitud i longitud de la terra a il·luminar. Per tant, la idea posada en pràctica comportaria un enorme benefici econòmic i mediambiental ja que ofereix l’aprofitament d’un recurs natural, inesgotable i alternatiu a tot el que s’ha fet fins ara.

This work is based on the idea of putting adjustable mirrors on the moon with the main objective being to reduce the energetic costs of lighting and to help in emergency situations such as fires, earthquakes, shipwrecks and so on. Mirrors would be fixed in the center of the visible face of the moon, and take light energy from the sun to give light to the parts of the earth which are dark with 100% efficiency, since we do not need to apply any energy conversion. They would have a surface area of 1sq.m and would be supported by a lightweight structure with an adjustable universal joint in elevation and azimuth. Furthermore, the scanner (structure + mirror) would have assigned by order of priority the different coordinates of latitude and longitude of the earth to light. Therefore, this idea put into practice would lead not only to an enormous economic benefit but also an environmental one, because it offers a natural resource that is endless and an alternative to everything that has been used since today.
