La Savi Chair és una cadira que informa l’usuari de la seva postura a temps real. Això permet que aquest en pugui ser conscient i corregir-la en cas de ser poc saludable.
L’alçada és l’única dada que requereix la cadira a l’hora de calibrar-se. Una vegada la postura és reconeguda, s’il·lumina la columna vertebral de LED del respatller de forma anàloga a la posició adoptada (per exemple, només s’encendran els LEDs corresponents a les vèrtebres lumbars si el que es fa és relaxar aquesta zona). A més a més, l’usuari també compta amb el suport d’una app on apareix Stewart, un personatge 3D que reprodueix la postura de la persona asseguda.
L’aplicació, disponible en cinc idiomes, consta addicionalment d’una notificació cada trenta minuts per a així indicar que és hora d’aixecar-se.
The Savi Chair is a smart chair which serves the purpose of informing the user of its posture in real time. This is a useful tool in order to become conscious of a bad position and thus, being able to correct it straight away.
The user’s height is the only information required by the chair in regards to its calibration. Once the position is recognized, the spine made of LED lights on the back of the chair will light up accordingly to the analyzed posture (for instance, only the lumbar vertebrae will shine if that area is being relaxed). Moreover, the user is also given an app featuring Stewart, a 3D character who mimics the posture of the sitting person.
The app is available in five different languages and sends a notification every thirty minutes in order to remind the user to get up.
