El nostre treball de recerca es basa en la tècnica d’animació stop-motion. Ens hem plantejat l’objectiu d’aconseguir crear un curtmetratge d’animació amb aquest tipus d’animació, a partir de materials nous i que estan al nostre abast (començant des de zero), de manera que sembli que els personatges de la nostre història cobren vida (d’aquí el títol “Objectiu: creació de vida”).
El projecte està dividit en dues parts. Una part teòrica, introduint en què consisteix l’stop-motion i parlant d’un autor que utilitza aquesta tècnica i rellevant per a nosaltres: Tim Burton. La segona part, la pràctica, consisteix en tot el procés de creació del nostre curtmetratge, amb un diari de seguiment per saber tot l’esforç i dificultats que porta ser el director i productor de la teva pròpia pel·lícula.
Our research is based on the technique of stop-motion animation. Wehave setourselvesthegoal of creating an animated short film with this technique, using new materials available to us and trying to make them look like they were alive (that is thereason forthetitle "Objective: creation of life").
The project is divided in two parts. In the first part there’s the theory, introducingwhat stop-motionis andtalkingabout an author who uses thistechniqueandwho is significant to us: Tim Burton. The second partdescribes the process of creation of our short film, with a diary which shows all thedifficultiesandthededicationwhichmeansbeingtheproducerand director of your own movie.
