L’animació és una tècnica que consisteix en la projecció d’una seqüència d’imatges creades individualment a una taxa constant, provocant així una il·lusió de moviment. Es tracta d’una eina que ha anat evolucionant amb el temps i que ha acabant desenvolupant un ample nombre de tècniques. A diferència del que molta gent pensa, l’animació no només són els “dibuixos animats” que vèiem de petits a la televisió, resulta que té una gran varietat d’aplicacions: des del cinema fins a documentals, videojocs, “apps”, anuncis...
L’objectiu principal del meu treball és, doncs, crear un curt animat que reflecteixi la història de l’animació, i que serveixi com a eina didàctica per donar-la a conèixer a tothom d’una manera entretinguda, al mateix temps que la realització del curt es converteix en una gran experiència d’aprenentatge personal en diferents àmbits.
Animation is a technique which consists on projecting an individually created sequence of pictures in a constant velocity rate, thus creating a motion illusion. This tool has been evolving over time and has eventually developed a wide number of techniques. However, unlike what people think, animation is not only the “cartoons” we used to see on TV when we were kids, but also a great variety of applications: from the cinema to documentaries, videogames, apps, adverts…
My project’s main goal is to create an animated short film that reflects animation’s history, so it can be used as a didactic tool, to get everyone to know animation’s history in an entertaining way. At the same time, it has become a great personal learning experience in different fields.
