Estudi socioeconòmic i ecològic de l'activitat pesquera d'arrossegament al port de Palamós des de l'any 1934 fins al 2011. A nivell econòmic analitzo els ingressos i despeses d'una barca, l'evolució del preu del petroli, de la flota de barques i dels ingressos de la confraria de Palamós.

També investigo la legislació sobre vedes establertes, mides de les captures i potència de motors.

Exposo les característiques més rellevants de totes les espècies època de reproducció, captures, preus, ...

Aprofundeixo més en el cas de la gamba i de l'escamarlà pel seu gran pes econòmic en la confraria i, també, per la vinculació de la primera amb la denominació “gamba de Palamós”.

Mostro la visió de diferents armadors. Presento exemples d'actuacions que poden millorar l'ecosistema marí.

Demostro que si no es canvia el mètode de pesca en un futur, la pesca d'arrossegament no serà viable i proposo mesures per fer la pesca més sostenible i que evitin que s'hagi d'aturar aquesta activitat.

Socioeconomic and ecological study of the fishing activity in the port of Palamós from 1934 to 2011. Economic analysis: the revenues and expenses of a boat, the evolution of the price of the oil, of the fleet of boats and of the revenues of the guild of Palamós.

I also investigate the legislation on: established fishing seasons, sizes of captures, power of engines.

I expose the more important characteristics of all species: period of reproduction, captures, prices, etc.

I deepen more in the case of prawns and crawfish for its economic importance in the guild and, also, for the bonding of the first with the prawn of Palamós brand.

I show the vision of different fishing trawlers owners.

I present examples of performances that can improve the marine ecosystem.

I show that if they don't change the method of fishing, in a future, the fishing with dragnets will not be feasible and I propose measures to do this fishing most sustainable and in this way to avoid stopping this activity.
