Una casa ecològica és aquella que respecta el medi ambient. Això inclou no contaminar, consumir poca energia i produir el més lleu impacte mediambiental possible.

L’objectiu d’aquest treball és estudiar les possibilitats que té avui en dia la construcció d’una casa ecològica i el rendiment que pot tenir comparat amb un habitatge tradicional.

Per fer aquest treball s’ha realitzat un estudi meteorològic de l’emplaçament, Palafrugell, per adaptar-se millor al clima i, seguidament, s’ha estudiat tota la teoria que podria ser implementada a la vivenda: aïllaments, plaques solars o la mateixa arquitectura de l’edifici. A continuació es va realitzar un pressupost comparant el disseny de l’habitatge ecològic amb el de la casa convencional per comprovar a partir de quan en resulta rentable la construcció.

Finalment es va construir una maqueta a escala de l’habitatge per mostrar millor el disseny i demostrar la utilització de les plaques solars fotovoltaiques integrades a l’habitatge..

An eco-friendly house is that one which respects the environment. This includes not polluting, not consuming a lot of energy and produce the lightest possible environmental impact.

The main objective of this project is studying the possibilities of an ecological house construction nowadays and the efficiency it could have comparing it to a conventional building.

To do this project a meteorological study has been realized on the location, Palafrugell, to get a better adaptation it to the climate and, straightaway, all the theory that could be implemented in the house was studied: isolations, solar panels or the building architecture. After that a budget was made, comparing the eco-friendly house design with a conventional house to confirm when it started being profitable.

Finally a scaled house model was built to show better the design and demonstrate the harnessing of the photovoltaic panels integrated in the building.
