És la caça una activitat necessària en el terme del Massís de les Gavarres? Es troba avui dia la cacera normalitzada en la nostra societat? Què engloba aquest món cinegètic? Aquest estudi s'ha fet amb l'objectiu de trobar una resposta en la pràctica d'una activitat que actualment l'envolta una gran aurèola de controvèrsia.

El treball consta de dues parts ben diferenciades: per una banda, trobem on s'ha recopilat informació teòrica sobre el món de la caça i, especialment, sobre el protagonista d'aquest estudi: el porc senglar. Per l'altra banda, hi ha el marc pràctic que se subdivideix en dos apartats: l’anàlisi d'enquestes de poblacions que envolten les Gavarres i, per l'altra, resultats generals.

A partir dels resultats obtinguts, s'ha pogut arribar a una conclusió concisa: cal tenir en compte aquesta espècie, seguir-ne d'aprop la seva evolució per gestionar els desequilibris i, al mateix temps, conscienciar la societat en general que aquesta plaga és un problema seriós.

Is hunting a necessary activity in the region of Massis de les Gavarres ? Is it normalized in our society nowadays? What is hunting? What does it involve? This study tries to find an answer to the controversy that this activity brings about.

This work consists of two parts. First, the theoretical framework about the world of hunting, particularly the wild boar. Second, the practical framework that is divided into two sections: -The results of the surveys of the groups of population that can be found around the Gavarres. - The global results

Thanks and according to these results, we have been able to reach to the conclusion that this species must be closely observed. We must keep track of its evolution to try to manage their imbalances while raising awareness in our society that this plague is a serious problem.
