En aquest treball de recerca es va plantejar com a objectiu dissenyar i construir un model d’arpa làser propi. L’arpa làser és un instrument electrònic que simula el funcionament de l’arpa clàssica que tots coneixem però amb la diferència de que les cordes, enlloc de ser de niló són els rajos emesos per díodes làser. Per tal de dur a terme aquest instrument, va ser necessari aprendre a treballar amb Arduino (que és un sistema de programació de circuits), saber treballar amb programes de síntesi musical i dominar tècniques de taller tals com soldar, fusteria i electricitat. Durant el procés d’aquest treball, es va realitzar un prototip previ per comprovar la hipòtesi de funcionament de l’arpa. Tot seguit es va planejar i construir el disseny final de l’arpa, amb forma de trapezi rectangle i fet de fusta de pi.

This research was aimed to design and build a model of a laser harp all made by myself. The laser harp is an electronic instrument that simulates the operation of the classical harp we all know, but there is a difference between the strings, instead of being made by nylon, they are rays emitted by laser diodes. To carry out this instrument, it was necessary to learn how to work with Arduino (which is a circuit programming system), to be able to work with programs of musical synthesis and technological techniques such as welding, carpentry and electricity. During the process of this project it was carried out a prototype to test the hypothesis of operation of the harp. Then, the final design of the harp was planned and built, shaped like a trapezoid and made of pine wood.
