El treball parteix de la necessitat vital i vocacional de descobrir l'engranatge del procés de publicació literària i dels seus protagonistes, des de l'estadi més incipient, l'original, fins l'exemplar amb llom i coberta. S'estructura en dues parts: la primera, basada en la recerca; la segona, estrictament pràctica.
D'una banda, la línia de recerca té l'objectiu de contactar amb el món editorial, descobrir tot el procés que segueix l'original fins a ser publicat, les diverses plataformes que existeixen per a publicar, la legislació que cal considerar sobre al propietat intel·lectual, els pros i contres de l'autopublicació, i els possibles condicionants com a autora menor d'edat.
D'altra banda, l'autora posa en pràctica tot el que ha après a la primera fase del treball, escriu la seva primera novel·la, Camino, l'autopublica i, paral·lelament, l'envia a diverses empreses editorials amb l'objectiu d'aconseguir-ne, per via tradicional, la primera edició. Actualment, està a l'espera de rebre'n l'aprovació.
The project is born from the vital and vocational need of discovering the clockwork of the literary publication process and its main characters, starting from the first stage, the manuscript, until it reaches the published result. It is structured in two parts: the first one is based on research; the second is strictly practical.
On the one hand, the research line seeks contacting with the publishing world, discovering the whole process which the manuscript will go through until it is brought out, the different publishing platforms available to writers, the copyright law, the ups and downs of selfpublishing and the possible determining factors which you could face as an underage author.
On the other hand, the author takes to practice what she has learned on the project's first stage. She writes her first novel, Camino, selfpublishes it and, at the same time, sends it to different publishing houses with the objective of getting its traditional first edition. She is waiting for its approval at the moment.
