A mig camí entre la fotografia i la història, “Fotoperiodisme, el rastre d’un testimoni” ens fa un recorregut per les instantànies més importants que han passat pel nostre planeta. En la part teòrica, hi trobem la història del fotoperiodisme, tant a nivell tècnic com ideològic. Es parla també de la història de l’àmbit a Catalunya i de la crisi del fotoperiodisme actual, i més endavant hi trobem un recull de les fotografies i dels fotoperiodistes més importants de la història. Quant a la part pràctica, es parla de l’exposició World Press Photo i de la seva visita, i s’entrevista el fotoperiodista barceloní Pau Barrena. Com a annex, compta amb un reportatge fotogràfic que retrata la societat nord-americana actual.

Halfway between photography and history, “Photojournalism, the trace of a witness” takes us on tour to the most important snapshots that have been taken in our planet. In the theoretical part, we are told the history of photojournalism, at both levels, technical and ideological. It also tells the history of Catalonia and the current crisis related to the photojournalism, and then there is a collection of the most important photographs and photojournalists in history. In the practical part, it explains the World Press Photo exhibition and visit, and there’s also an interview to the Catalan photojournalist Pau Barrena. As an annex we can find a photo report that portrays the American society of our present time.
