Faculty Handbook

The Faculty Handbook was developed as a comprehensive guide to working at RISD for all members of the faculty.  The Handbook may be of particular usefulness to new faculty members for the “nuts and bolts” information as they start to work at RISD. The Faculty Handbook is edited each year by Academic Affairs on behalf of the Academic Policies Subcommittee of the Instruction Committee. The Academic Policies Subcommittee presents all substantive changes made to the Handbook at the Faculty Meeting (usually the first meeting of the new academic year).
