Faculty Coordinator TU Release Form

The FTFA Bargaining Agreement provides for an additional teaching unit of release for the departments of Architecture, Graphic Design, Illustration, Industrial Design, History, Philosophy & Social Sciences, Literary Arts & Studies, and Theory & History of Art & Design. The release is to be assigned to a full-time faculty member other than the department head for work that will help alleviate the administrative workload of the department head.

In an effort to maintain equity, gather details for appointment letters, and to facilitate systems and permissions necessary for the named faculty member to perform their new duties, department heads of the above-named departments consult with their deans to identify the faculty member to receive the release and use this form to provide Academic Affairs with the pertinent details by July 1 of any academic year.
