Board of Trustees Investment Committee

Pursuant to Section 5.7 of the Bylaws of Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), the Finance Committee (Committee) of RISD’s Board of Trustees (Board) appoints the Investment Subcommittee (Subcommittee) to assist the Committee in fulfilling its responsibilities to provide fiduciary oversight of the endowment assets, working capital, and any other securities of RISD in accordance with RISD’s Investment Policy and working capital policy and with the Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act, the Prudent Investor Act, and other applicable laws.  The Subcommittee serves as the focal point of open communication between the Board, RISD’s investment advisors and/or consultants, and management.
