You will review your course rosters, submit estimated books and materials costs, and enter mid-term warnings and final grades on Workday.
Mid-term
It is important for faculty to submit mid-term grades and notes for students that are not doing passing work. Please be mindful that the notes are viewable to students, their academic advisor, and department head and should address academic performance only. Final grading
Final grading is a requirement in every course and of every instructor. Grades are entered via Workday. Deadline dates for entering final grades are listed on the Academic Calendar and are emailed to faculty by the Registrar near the end of each semester. In addition to the letter grade faculty may also submit Faculty Reports of Student Progress (narrative evaluations). Students will be able to access written comments/evaluations in Workday. Written comments/evaluations are not a part of the student’s permanent academic record.
Grade Changes: If you need to change a grade after submission (including assigning a letter grade after a student has submitted completed work), log on to Workday, return to the roster and next to the student check Change Grade, select Revised Grade and Grade Change Reason, then click Submit. Confirm your grade change and click OK.
The grade change will route to: 1) The Department Head if a final letter grade is replaced by another and 2) The Department Head and Division Dean if it has been more than 60 days from the end of the semester the course was offered in.
