The Brown|RISD Dual Degree Joint Committee provides oversight, examining and providing guidance in all aspects of the Brown|RISD Dual Degree Program (BRDD), a five-year undergraduate program of combined disciplinary education, using both institutions as its campus. The program confers upon the successful graduate a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from RISD and a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University. The highly selective program is available to a small number of students who apply to and are accepted by both institutions, and who are additionally approved by a joint Brown|RISD Admission Committee.
