Shared Directory

Each academic department and division has a Shared Directory folder created to archive faculty files and other important department and division management documents. Coordinators are asked to save their work to the shared directory rather than to their own personal computers.

Coordinators are also shared into the
AA-Archives folder set up on RISD's shared directory for all departments and divisions to start to pass along syllabi and other documents to the RISD Archives. It provides the Archives with informative information for historians researching the institution or individual faculty but it will also caches documentation required for Accreditation. Archives are also interested in epherma such as posters, invitations to exhibitions, student and faculty work. Contact: risdarchives@risd.edu

Why the Shared Directory? It is backed up nightly by OIT: it is secure.
