Extra duty contract request form

ARTICLE VIII. B.4 of the Bargaining Agreement by and between RISD and the Part-time Faculty Association states:   Part-time bargaining unit members who are asked to perform other work such as supervision of academic facilities or assignment to co-curricular or academic projects and which is not specifically excluded in Article VIII.4. and which is not listed in the Article VIII.4.a schedule, will be provided a formal appointment letter from Academic Affairs defining the duties and compensation for that activity.  

Departments and division that wish to engage part-time faculty in activities that are not those specified in the Bargaining Agreement or engage them in longer term tasks with substantial compensation and/or duration are asked to complete the attached form which should follow this route:
