Student Handbook College Visitation Day
Juniors will be allowed one day per year (non-accumulated) to visit a college of their choice without being counted absent from school. (November, 2014) Seniors will be allowed two days per year to visit a college of their choice without being counted absent from school. (January, 2018)This day must be set up through the guidance counselor and principal at least one school day in advance. After the counselor has made all arrangements with the college, the counselor will furnish the student with a form to be presented to the principal in order for the student to receive credit for a day of visitation. The college visitation day is a school sponsored activity.
