Kirk Crawford started wrestling at the young age of 8 years old in the D.C. metropolitan area Beltway League. He began his dominant wrestling career At St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School in Alexandria VA, showing his talent for the sport early on with District, Regional and State VISAA Championships.
He wrestled for Osbourn Park High School from 1981 -1983. With the mentorship and guidance of Coach Mike Foley, Kirk became a standout OP Wrestler and a leader of his teammates. His attitude and drive were key to his accomplishments at Osbourn Park.

1983 - District Champion 126 lb weight class
1982 - Regional Champion 119 lb weight class
1983 - Regional Runner-up 126 lb weight class
1982 - 119lb State Champion
*first OP wrestler to win a state championship

*first OP wrestler to win consecutive state championships in two different weight classes (119 and 126).
Currently Kirk is a father of 2 sons (both wrestlers) and has run his own business for 28 years.
