Albert L. Crow Coach/Admin

Albert Crow served as the Activities Director at OPHS from the school’s opening until he retired in October of 1991. Prior to that, he was the Activities Director at Osbourn High School from 1961 until opening OP. In addition to that, during his career at Osbourn, Mr. Crow coached Football, Wrestling, Track and Field and taught Physical Education and Driver’s Ed.

He was very active in the VHSL and VIAAA attending numerous conventions and clinics during his career. He was extremely proud to have dedicated his life to education . He truly lived ” Once A Jacket, Always A Jacket” having come back from Missionary Service in Africa to be a volunteer football coach alongside his son. He also continued to support OP Athletics working at the annual Victor Cahoon Track Meet. He remained an avid Yellow Jacket fan, attending his final football game with family and friends one week before his death in 2019.

Notable - Mr. Crow played his college football at William & Mary and then went on to be drafted by the New York Giants. After being released and then signing with the Buffalo Bills he was traded to the Boston Patriots where an injury would end his career.
