Jack Lynch began his PWCS career as a teacher and coach at Parkside Middle School in 1966. In 1976 he moved to Stonewall Middle and spent 6 years there as an assistant principal, then principal. In 1982 he was transferred to Osbourn Park where he would serve as Principal for 12 years.
After six years as an associate superintendent, Mr. Lynch retired. Upon retirement he and his wife Nora moved to Key West, FLA to scuba dive and chase the “good life”. They moved back to Virginia in 2012 to be closer to family. They are currently happily living in Virginia Beach and are surrounded by family and friends. In addition to six grandchildren, they now have two great grandsons. He continues to be active, with walking, golf and enjoying life.
Notable - Mr. Lynch is the all time assist leader at Hammond High School and he also spent some time after high school playing semi-pro baseball.
