Kiana Hairston is celebrated as a premier athlete in the Osbourn Park Track and Field program, exemplifying exceptional athleticism and leadership. Her dominance in the sprint events was unmatched throughout her career, culminating in a remarkable performance at the 2014 6A State Outdoor Championship where she won the 100m, 200m, and 400m dashes. This achievement earned her the revered title of “Queen of Sprints” from Coach Feldman, solidifying her legacy as one of the greatest sprinters in the program’s history.
As a co-captain of the team, Kiana embodied the spirit of Osbourn Park Track and Field, leading by example and showcasing an unwavering commitment to her team. Her competitive drive and relentless pursuit of excellence earned her numerous District, Regional, and State championships, leading to her selection as 1st Team All-Met in 2014.
Life After OP
Kiana's success continued beyond high school at the University of Virginia, where she excelled as a four-year student-athlete. Her dedication and performance on the track set the stage for a distinguished academic and professional journey. After graduating from Virginia, Kiana furthered her education at Ohio University, earning dual master’s degrees in business administration and Sports Administration. Kiana currently resides in Washington, DC working as an Associate Manager for the Walt Disney Company.
