Marcia Fletcher (Williams) is a two-time AAA State Champion at the 55m and 100m Hurdles. She is Osbourn Park’s first female state champion in track and field and the first in Osbourn Park history. She also is a two-time National Champion in the Triple Jump. She won the TAC National Junior Olympic Intermediate Women’s Division Triple Jump in 1985 and the National Scholastic Indoor Triple Jump Championship in1987.

Two-time State AAA Champion: 1986 55m Hurdles 8.13 and 1987 100m Hurdles 14.23…. first in OPHS history.

Marcia's family (husband- Glenn; son- Matthew; daughter- Jordan) currently resides in Wellford, SC; and she has been the jumps coach at Limestone University, Gaffney, SC since September, 2020.
Marcia attended Clemson University where she competed on the Women’s Track and Field Team from 1988-1991. In 1991, she was a two-time All-ACC performer in the Long and Triple Jump and earned NCAA Division I All-American honors that season. Marcia returned to her alma mater to serve as the Head Women’s Track and Field/Cross Country Coach from 2000- 2008. She was the first African-American Head Coach in any sport at Clemson University.
Marcia also received the YWCA Dream Achiever Award in Greenville, SC in 2013, was a Women Making History Honoree in 2011 and was selected as one of Talk Magazine’s 25 Most Beautiful Women in Greenville, SC in 2012.
