Victor A. Cahoon was legendary high school athlete at Osbourn Park and one of the best multi-sport athletes in the annals of Prince William County. His accomplishments on the gridiron, on the track and in the field have stood the test of time. He led the 1985 Yellow Jackets to a 9-2 record and then in the following 1986 Indoor Track Season scored 16 points in the AAA Indoor State Championship Meet and a top (3) finish for the championship. Friends, colleagues, teammates, competitors, coaches, teachers and business partners all recall a man of compassionate integrity with an infectious smile married to an incredible work ethic.
Victor was quite accomplished in all three sports while at OP. Here are some of the highlights:

3,500 career rushing yards. Scored 45 career touchdowns

Played in the 1986 VHSCA All-Star Game

3-time All State in Track and Field USA Today 1st All American in the Long Jump
Holds OPTF Indoor and Outdoors in the LJ, 55m and 100m Dashes

Notable: In 1990 Victor was the Osbourn Park Graduation’s Keynote Speaker. Then later in 2004 the Victor A. Cahoon Track Classic and Scholarship were established in his honor.

After Osbourn Park, Victor attended Arizona State University where he played football and had an incredible career. He played wide receiver, tailback and special teams from 1987-1991
The Sun Devils were the 1987 PAC-10 Champions and Rose Bowl Champions. In 1988 they were the Freedom Bowl Champions.
In 1989 Victor led the Sun Devils in kick-off returns.
Victor was briefly a member of the Washington Redskins in 1991.
