Dad Evans spent over a decade coaching the Yellow Jackets from 1976-1987.

• Freshman and Junior Varsity Football Coach, 1976-1981

• Assistant Varsity Football Coach, 1982-1995

• Assistant Boys Varsity Track Coach, 1976-1980

• Head Girls Varsity Track Coach, 1981-1987

In 1995 Mr. Evans was named Athletic Director and he served in that position until his retirement in 2008. With the support of Principal Timothy Healey and a dedicated booster organization, the Osbourn Park Athletic department was able to make the following improvements during his tenure.

• Stadium renovation Phase I – Upgraded lighting, fencing, and field turf.

• Practice and Game Field Renovations – regrading and the installation of fencing, irrigation, and Bermuda grass on the practice and stadium fields.

• Stadium renovation Phase II – Restrooms and Ticket Booth renovations.

• Implemented a uniform rotation program.

• Supervised the addition of Boys’ and Girls’ Swimming, Field Hockey, and Lacrosse as varsity-level programs.
