Description : Short branched, hairy herb, grow up to 15 cm tall. Stem is bluish and hispid, leaves are oblong- elliptic to obovate. Flowers are pinkish-white arise in leaf axils, they are campanulate, sessile, small, odorless, bisexual. Calyx has four valvate sepals, green, campanulate and united basally with pilose hairs, corolla is tubular, funnel shaped, ovary is bicarpellary, syncarpous, bilocular with a total of two ovules.
Phenology: May-August
USES: used to treat diarrhea, dyspepsia, general debility, dysentery, cancer etc.
