Description: Prostrate herbs with creeping stem, rooting at lower nodes. Leaves digitately 3-foliolate, broadly obcordate, apex emarginate, base cuneate; petiolate. Flowers yellow, solitary or in axillary umbels; Sepals 5, ovate-lanceolate. Petals 5, ovate-lanceolate. Stamens 10, in two rows. Ovary 5-celled; ovules many; styles 5, distinct. Fruit is a capsule, linear, puberulous outside; seeds many, minute, brown.
Phenology: February - October
Uses: All plant parts are edible, leaves and flowers are added to salads. it is used in the treatment of fever, diarrhoea, urinary tract infections, poisonous snake bites etc. The juice of the plant mix with butter is applied to muscular swelling, pimples and boils.
