Description: It is a tree. Leaves are deep green in dense clusters. Inflorescence is axillary. Flowers are heavy in bunches. Stamens 4-8, anthers versatile, give a hairy appearance to the clusters. Ovary is hairy, curve style and capitate stigma. Pods are flat and black. Seeds are 4-8 seeded.
Phenology: February - April.
Uses: Used to treat dyspepsia, fever and menorrhagia.
