Description: Slender, twinning plant with deciduous hairs. Leaflets 5-7, elliptic, rounded at the base. Flowers large, axillary, solitary, bright blue with prominent bracteoles. Calyx tubular, membraneous. Corolla exserted, standard ones large with orange centre. Wings spreading, keels shorter than wings incurved. Stamens diadelphous. Ovary stalked, Ovules numerous, Style elongate, hairy. Pods linear, compressed, seeds many.
Phenology: July- January
Uses: Used as a memory enhancers, antistress, antidepressant, antivulsant and sedative agent.
