Description:  Small tree. Bark smooth thin greyish brown. Leaves opposite, entire, aromatic, short petioled.  Flowers large, white, in axils. Calyx lobes 5, valvate. Petals 5, free. Stamens numerous inserted on a wide disk. Ovary many celled. Ovules numerous in each cell. Style pointed. Stigma capitate. Fruit a globose edible berry crowned by calyx limb. Seeds many, reniform.

Uses: Used fruit for high blood pressure, and has antimicrobial and anticancer property, used to make juice, shake jams etc.
