Description: It is a herb growing in shady places. Dark green stem, leaves pinnate, flowers small, bisexual, zygomorphic, bracteate, bracteolate, bract and bracteoles are persistent, petals are white, bilipped. Fruit is a capsule.
Phenology: May - October
Uses: It is traditionally used for the treatment of common cold, fever, diarrhoea, jaundice, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, ulcers, skin diseases and bronchitis. It is used as a health tonic for the liver and cardiovascular health.
